On January 9, 2012 at 2:30AM EST the moon will enter Cancer. Cancer is a Water sign and is a great sign to do healing work. For this moon we will work to heal relationships. Whether it is a romantic relationship, a family relationship, friendship, or a relationship with a coworker. We will use this moons energies to heal and clear any problems we may be having within any of these relationships. This can be healing to our hearts and can help us let go of any old baggage you may be carrying.

Bathtub Version
Set your sacred space in your bathroom. As you run the water for your bath light your candles and incense while saying “Come to me great mother, I ask for your guidance and healing energies tonight. Help me to bring healing to my soul and guide me to move on in whichever way will bring me peace.”
Focus on the candles and incense and their energies, feel their light coming through to you and healing the pieces that need to be healed.
When the bath is full use 2-3 tablespoons of the bath salt in your bath. As you bathe, focus your energies by visualizing chakra by chakra. Start with base chakra which is near the base of your spine. Imagine red light pulsing. Feel the energies of the bath, candles and incense work through your base. Then go on to your spleen chakra which is just above your base. Imagine orange light pulsing. Feel the energies of the bath, candles and incense work through your spleen. Next go to the solar plexus which is above the spleen, just above your belly button (bottom of your sternum). Imagine yellow light pulsing. Feel the energies of the bath, candles and incense work through your solar plexus. Then move up to your heart chakra which is near your heart. Imagine green and pink swirling light pulsing. Feel the energies of the bath, candles and incense work through your heart. Move above to your throat chakra, which is your throat. Imagine blue light pulsing. Feel the energies of the bath, candles and incense work through your throat. Then move to your 3rd eye, which is between or behind your eyes. Imagine purple light pulsing. Feel the energies of the bath, candles and incense work through your heart. And finally envision your crown chakra which is by the crown of your head. Imagine white light pulsing. Feel the energies of the bath, candles and incense work through your crown. Just know that healing is taking place.
Now hold your moonstone in your left hand or the hand you do not write with and draw into it all the loving clear positive energy you have manifested. This is for you to carry to bring the healing into all relationships.

Bowl Version
Set your sacred space as you normally would. Make sure your bowl is set in the middle of your sacred space with water in it. Stand above the bowl and pour some bath salts into the bowl while saying “Come to me great mother, I ask for your guidance and healing energies tonight. Help me to bring healing to my soul and guide me to move on in whichever way will bring me peace.”

Begin washing your hands. As you are doing this we will visualize the chakras and cleanse through the chakra system. Start with base chakra which is near the base of your spine, place your hands on or over the area. Imagine red light pulsing. Feel the energies of the candles and incense work through your base. Then go on to your spleen chakra which is just above your base, place your hands on or over the area. Imagine orange light pulsing. Feel the energies of the candles and incense work through your spleen.
